Yes, our studio is where all of our pieces are made.

It’s half showroom and half studio, so our sapphire cutting wheel is right next to our finished pieces and we cast gold just feet away from our displays.

Our Custom Process

First, we help you find the right stone you’re looking for and then we shape a design around it. If you’re interested in starting a custom project, contact us here.

Yes, we have a large collection of hand-cut Montana sapphires and antique diamonds. If you’re looking for a stone we don’t have currently available, we will source stones for you.

We love taking on requests like this! If you’d like one of our designs with an existing stone, please get in touch.

Most of our custom engagement ring clients follow up with us when it’s time to start thinking about a wedding band that compliments their engagement ring or their partner’s.

Materials and gemstones

Our sapphires all come from the state of Montana. We source them directly from the miners and our own team cuts them to ensure the most ethical practices of sapphire.

Alongside cutting our sapphires right in our studio, we also work with a small, artisan team of skilled cutters in Sri Lanka: a place with a deep history of gemstone craftsmanship.

We exclusively source antique diamonds from the Victorian era. We believe diamonds with centuries of history are one of the most ethical choices available.

For gold, we work with 18k recycled yellow gold and 18k palladium white gold.

For platinum, we work with palladium.

This is an ancient Roman technique we brought back to life. Each piece starts by carving two halves of an oak mold and then pouring molten gold into the cast. It leaves behind an unrepeatable wood grain texture on the ring.

Care & Repairs

Yes! Sapphires and diamonds are very durable for everyday wear and the quality of our metals ensure that your ring can be worn daily without tarnishing or damage.

We only ask you to remove Rigby Leigh rings during anything high-intensity such as rock climbing or jousting :)

Our jewelry requires very little care. Gentle soap and water is all it'll need.

We only repair jewelry that we’ve made in our studio. We do not offer jewelry repairs for other designer’s work. We’d be happy to share repair recommendations if you have another piece in need of repair.

If you’ve received a piece from us, and it happens to be too tight or loose, we offer a complimentary ring resize.
